I swear, sometimes it feels as if Just Asking For It is trying it's hardest not to come to life.
We just had server problems, AGAIN.
We were logging in to the file server for jaficomic all day, and as soon as Kuro was done with the art for the new one, BAM, it died!
But, first thing I do in the morning, I check, it works, we UPDATE!
AND NOW WE HAVE AN ARCHIVE!!! AN ARCHIVE OF ONE!!! MUAAAAHAHAHAHAH!!! |

Yes... It appears that there are forces out there who don't want our comic to come to life... or at least achieve walking corpse status.
I had happily started the colors when my cat, doing like tact usually do started bitching for attention. Now I love my cat and all but when you're busy and have a deadline kitty has to wait. So she goes and creeps behind the computer pulling at cables which brings the speakers down onto the monitor plug and BAM! i have no video, my eyes bulge and I start hitting Ctrl+S like crazy as i repeat the words "NO NO NO!" in my head. I reach behind the computer... jiggle the monitor's cord and BAM! again computer resets itself and I still have no video, so I mug my mother for 2 dollars, go to one of those internet coffee things and log in, ask every one I know if they have a extra monitor, some of them did , but alas they didn't work... my buddy 'Tiny'... made his best to get a spare, even offered to buy one if things came to worse... you cant help but love the big guy, I'll love you even more once you start making those 30+ bucks an hour.
So I returned home defeated and shortly my roommate arrives and says he might have one, so we go to his now abandoned ex home and get it, get back home, plug it in and shit my pants again because i still have no video... I crack open my computer and do a desperate remove and replace of the video card and it worked!! I lost almost all day and had only done 1 third of what i could have achieved... I went to rest with unfinished colors, next day I wake up, sit at the computer and happily again set myself to finish work, five hours into the thing the computer resets by itself which delivers another load into my pants, I stare at the computer in grand disbelief. I open the file and i had to go back to square one... I get my mind set to the idea that I wont get up from my chair and finish this thing at around 3 am. Then the above happens...
To whoever is out there trying to foil us let it be known that we will not yield... This is SPARTA!!!!, err... I mean JUST ASKING FOR IT!!!
